During his recent check out to Helmand province and a refugee camp, Dr Tajuddin Avila, UNICEF&& s agent in Afghanistan, emphasized the value of every child&& s right to a healthy life and revealed UNICEF & s efforts to enhance the nutrition and health status of children in the country.Referring to the tough living conditions of kids, he stressed that every child deserves to begin a healthy life and to receive the needed support.UNICEF is executing a number of programs to lower poor nutrition and enhance the health status of kids in Afghanistan and is attempting to react to the fundamental needs of this susceptible group.In December, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) warned that the number of malnourished children in Afghanistan is anticipated to reach 3.5 million by 2025.
